Shoulder and neck pain

I need some serious help. In September 2011 I underwent Carpel Tunnel surgery, whereby only my left arm was numbed. Since that time I have had severe pain in my left arm, the whole arm above the elbow. Lifting a water bottle is excruciating. I have had two cortizone injections and currently having physical therapy once per week. The pain has moved to my neck and into my right shoulder and in the central part of my back above my bra strap across the entire top. I get some relief with gels and creams if I can get it on or if someone can help me which I really do not have anyone to help me.

I already have a old injury in the right shoulder, a torn rotator cuff, beyond repair. This is worse than when I aggravate that injury. I am having a difficult time getting some sleep. Let me add I am obese and my arm is quite large. I have other joint problems from my feet, to knees, to lower back pain etc... I currently take Morphine 60 mg 4 times per day, Norco, 10/325 2 pills 4 times per day and also 800 mg ibuprofen 3-4 times per day. This gives me absolutely no relief at all. I also take a muscle relaxer at night, no help there either. I am soon to have joint knee replacement and at this time I cannot put my weight (301) on a standard walker. I need to get this arm and neck pain taken care of, but no one will take me seriously. I have been on the narcotics since 1993 when I first injured my lower back. I am just miserable. I am quite sure I have a pinched nerve, but I do not know where to go or who to talk to. I live in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Any suggestions?

Wrist twists may reinforce your wrist. Begin with a light dumbbell, around 5lbs or something like that, and just twist your wrist here and there. You can utilize your legs for backing on the off chance that you require it. In the event that you have admittance to an exercise center, you can work your neck muscles by grabbing a seat press bar (or utilize a smith machine) in the front, and utilize your arms to lift toward your neck. Again begin with a light weight and as you advance include more as required.

Neck shoulder elbow hand pain and numbness

I'VE had pain in these areas for 8 yrs now. Seen many specialists wiith no real answers. After having shoulder decompression, elbow decompression and a Cervical FushionDiscectomy surgerys, with no relief. I decided to see a Thoracic outlet specialist. The Diagnosis is Thoracic Outlet with Nerve and Artery Compression. I had a CT with Angiogram that showed a very impressive scan with an extra cervical rib. I AM NOW SCHEDULED FOR THORACIC SURGERY in 2 weeks.
I would recommend anyone with complicated symptoms, see a Dr. at a large teaching hospital who does research.
